we cordially invite you to the conference ‘Shaping Migration Strategies’, to be held at September 20th in the European Parliament in Brussels.

Migration, coming to us in facets such as asylum, illegality, integration, development and re-integration, is at the heart of our political debate and will remain there in many years to come. Caused by many reasons, migration is unavoidable and asks for a comprehensive strategic approach.

We find it encouraging that projects, operating within the framework of the Community Initiative EQUAL, have interconnected and make the effort to bring the debate on migration and asylum to a higher level. We would like you to join us for this event and discuss migration strategies with international experts, policy makers and politicians from regional, national and European level.
